Global management - Business Management (L-18)


The 1st level Degree Course in Global management - Business Management (L-18) is implemented in english and italian. The course provides a solid and thorough preparation in various disciplines related to economics and business management, required in order to hold roles in the various functional areas and business processes, in an interdisciplinary perspective. The Degree Course provides the students with integrated knowledge in economic and business disciplines with particular focus on the managerial and financial administration of enterprises; on marketing processes within the framework of globalization, technological and sustainable innovation and management and organizational themes related to the sports sector.


The Degree Course is articulated into four learning pathways

 

  • International management and finance
  • Technology and sustainability management
  • Agility and innovation management
  • Management and sport policies

The four learning pathways share a series of basic disciplines, fundamental subjects for the acquisition of economic, accounting, juridical competencies required in order to hold junior roles within different managerial areas.
 

Modality of attendance 

The educational activities are presential, however students who meet certain requirements may also participate in live streaming, wherever they are, interacting live with the classroom.


Internships

LINK Campus University has entere into an agreement with the Order of Accountants and Expert Bookkeepers of Rome for the implementation of an internship period conclurently with the training course and for the exemption from the written test of the state exam for the implementation of the profession of chartered accountant and accounting expert.


LEARNING PATHWAYS

International management and finance

The Bachelor's Degree in Global management - Business Management (L-18) - International management and finance learning pathway, has an international vocation, is held entirely in English and provides for a multinational composition of the class, deriving from the participation of international students enrolled in exchange programs or regularly registered. The aim of the educational pathway offered is to provide a solid theoretical and operational knowledge on business processes and functions, as well as to provide teachings allowing the students to complete their education by focusing on globalisation and international finance.

Furthermore, the course aims to supplement the students' skills related to business processes and functions with the ability to apply relevant issues in an international context, understand and analyse the international and multicultural business environment. The learning pathway provides financial, accounting and management control skills that are indispensable for efficient corporate governance, as well as in order to operate profitably in financial markets. Thanks to company testimonials and various experiential workshops, the students will be able to interface with professionals working in various fields related to business administration and finance, and to put the concepts studied into practice with a learning by doing approach.

Management of technology and sustainability

The Bachelor's Degree in Global management - Business Management (L-18) - Management of technology and sustainability learning pathway, offers the possibility to develop technical and methodological competencies/knowledge in the areas of expertise related to the management of a company, providing specific training focused on themes such as technological innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship. The course is characterized by a high level of interdisciplinarity and aims to train professional figures able to understand, interpret and manage the issues related to technology and sustainable innovation present in the current national and international competitive environment. 

The course provides a set of subjects aimed at providing a strong theoretical and operational knowledge of business processes and functions, integrated with subjects related to technological innovation and sustainability. The learning pathway offers multidisciplinary education, required to understand the economic, financial, social and legal phenomena affecting the management of companies operating nationally and internationally in a wide variety of sectors.

Furthermore, the course promotes the development of specific knowledge and competencies related to technological innovation and sustainability.
 

Career Opportunities

The graduates in Management of technology and sustainability will be able to operate in design and management of production processes with particular attention to the impact of technological innovation and sustainable development, by pursuing the following roles:

The Bachelor's Degree in Global management - Business Management (L-18) - Agility and innovation management learning pathway, offers the possibility to develop technical and methodological competencies/knowledge in the areas of expertise related to the management of a company, providing specific training focused on themes such as technological innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship. The course is characterized by a high level of interdisciplinarity and aims to train professional figures able to understand, interpret and manage the issues related to technology and sustainable innovation present in the current national and international competitive environment. The aim of the learning pathway is to train professional figures able to operate in a context of business agility, requiring timely and innovative capacity for adaptation. The aim of the educational pathway offered is to provide a solid theoretical and operational knowledge on business processes and functions, as well as to provide teachings allowing the students to complete their education by focusing on themes related to innovation and business agility. The degree course provides business simulations, project works and business games organized by entrepreneurs and managers of international companies.

Career opportunities

The graduates in Agility and innovation management will be able to operate in the field of business management, business organization, general management; as well as to develop entrepreneurial initiatives, with particular attention to the themes and methodologies related to innovation and business agility. Upon completion of the learning pathway, the candidates will be able to pursue the following roles:

  • business developer: identifies potential clients, contacts them and creates new business opportunities; creates and develops sales policies and advertisements for goods and services; carries out support functions related to a specific brand.

Sport Management and Policy

The Bachelor's Degree in Global management - Business Management (L-18) - Sport Management and Policy learning pathway, offers the possibility to develop technical and methodological competencies/knowledge of the principles, tools and practice required for an effective and efficient management of organizational processes and functions in the world of sports. The aim of the educational pathway offered is to tackle the growing need of competencies in the fied and is characterized by a high degree of interdisciplinarity. The learning pathway is characterized by subjects such as economics, management and law, which are indispensable for the management of sports organisations or institutions and companies investing in sport. The course of study aims to prepare graduates capable of bringing concrete value to organisations.

The degree course is realized with the collaboration of IDEMS, the research centre created for the purpose of the training and qualification of professionals and managers in the area of sports law and management.
