The School of Specialization for the Legal Professions, result of an agreement between the University of Tuscia in Viterbo and Link Campus University, was established with the aim of providing an educational offer attentive to the needs of the professional world of the twenty-first century and adequately diversified with regard to possible professional paths.
Within the context of the extremely varied educational offer provided by the various academic institutions located in Lazio, our School of Specialization provides law graduates with a unique and differentiated approach, which takes advantage of the collaboration between two extremely specialized universities to provide its students with an exclusive and effective educational experience.
The students will have the opportunity to choose between two highly professionalizing specialisations: the judicial-forensic pathway and the notarial pathway.
The candidates will acquire indispensable knowledge and abilities normally required to be successful in the legal field. Along these lines, the purely university-style lectures will be complemented by operational lessons, held by qualified notaries, judges and lawyers.
Therefore, the educational pathways provides for in-depth training on the most current issues, through various didactic activities, such as the simulation of judicial hearings, or the periodical drafting of different types of acts or documents, typical of the various professional profiles related to the legal profession.
Each activity will be aimed not only at the acquisition of the necessary concepts and notions required to pass examinations and competitions, but also and especially to ensure that the students acquire the reasoning skills and problem solving abilities necessary for a successful completion of the professional path chosen.
In particular, the analysis of the most relevant legal problems will allow students to understand the underlying rationale of the individual institutions, as well as the guidelines of the jurisprudence of merit and legitimacy, in order to improve, thanks to the contextualization of the institutions examined and the enucleation of possible alternative logical-legal procedures, the critical and interpretive skills of the students.
The study of jurisprudence, intended as a privileged tool for identifying the most topical legal issues, will occupy a prominent position in the internationalist discipline, with particular attention to the now essential European dimension.
The quality of the didactic offer will be guaranteed by the continuous participation of distinguished exponents of the academic world, of the most qualified members of all the orders and degrees of the ordinary and special Magistracy and of the most authoritative heads of the Professional Orders of reference of the territory in which the School of Specialization operates.
A complete training course cannot disregard a specific preparation in view of the qualifying examination for the exercise of the legal profession and the competitive tests for access to the judiciary and notary profession. In such a perspective, specific simulations corresponding to the official tests will be prepared, in full respect of the relative modalities of development, including the use of only the codified instruments admitted and the adoption of the foreseen time frames.
In order to ensure a highly qualified training, the course will provide a great variety of specialized subjects (sports law, law of intermediaries, A.D.R., agri-food law etc.), in order to provide students of our school a diversified preparation.
The experience that the students of the School of Specialization in Legal Professions will acquire during the educational pathway will be further enriched through the stipulation of specific agreements with major institutions and authorities in the sector, in order to ensure the development of profitable and formative internship and stage activities, which will allow professional figures to bring out their aptitudes and talents.
