Organization

The Regulations governing Doctoral Programs (text in force since April 10, 2025) define the organization of the School and Doctoral Programmes.
 



The objectives of the School (art. 3) are the following:

  • promoting and implementing the strategic choices defined by the Academic Governing Bodies with regards to doctoral course;
  • promoting and coordinating educational, cultural, and interdisciplinary activities in accordance with the specific characteristics of the courses. These activities constitute a fundamental and integral part of the University's third-level educational offering;
  • subjecting the courses to periodic evaluation in accordance with the Quality Assurance model defined by the University and ANVUR regulations.

Council (Art. 6)

The Council consists of:

a) the Director of the School, who acts as President;

b) the Coordinators of the Doctoral Programmes.

If the Coordinator is based at another university, the Committee provided for in Article 12 (lett. a) of the aforementioned Regulations shall appoint a representative based at the University to represent the Programme on the Council.

c) a representative of the doctoral students.
