Strategic studies and security policies (LM-62)

At a time when the concepts of security, strategy and geopolitics are central to global agendas, the Master's Degree Course in Strategic Studies and Security Policy (LM-62) at Link Campus University provides a concrete and high-profile educational response to the challenges of our time. Developed to offer advanced skills and multidisciplinary analytical tools, the course is designed both for recent graduates and for professionals already working in public institutions, the armed forces, law enforcement, civil protection or in analysis, consultancy and strategic planning roles.

The course is strongly oriented towards job placement and professional growth, thanks to a didactic offering that combines theory, operational practices, simulations, case studies and direct contact with industry professionals. The training is also suitable for candidates aspiring to diplomatic careers, roles in international organisations (FAO, UN, NATO, EU), security agencies, think tanks, intelligence agencies or global consulting firms.

Interdisciplinarity is one of the course's strengths: international law, political science, defence economics, international relations, geopolitics, conflict management, risk analysis and cyber security are just some of the areas covered in the course.

MODALITY OF FRUITION

The course provides for non-compulsory attendance of lessons. Furthermore, in order to meet the diverse needs of students, the lessons are video-recorded and made available on digital platforms in asynchronous mode. This additional opportunity allows students to organize their study and revision times independently. Theoretical teaching is complemented by practical and professionalizing activities: workshops, internships and visits to companies, public bodies and institutions in the area. These field experiences make it possible to develop concrete operational skills and to come into direct contact with the world of work already during the course of study.
