Biostatistician and epidemiologist, since November 2025 he is fixed-term researcher (RTT) in Medical Statistics (MEDS-24/A) at the Department of Life Sciences, Health, and Health Professions at Link Campus University. Previously, he held the position of researcher (RTDa) at the Polytechnic University of Marche, where he carried out research at the Center for Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Medical Informatics. He graduated in Economics and Finance and obtained his PhD in Political Economy from the Polytechnic University of Marche, specializing in statistical models for complex data, Bayesian methods, and copulas.

His scientific activity is mainly related to the development and application of methods and models for the analysis of real-world health data, with a focus on healthcare evaluation, the epidemiology of diabetes and respiratory diseases, pharmacoepidemiology, therapeutic adherence, care pathways, and differences in access to healthcare services among population groups, including migrants. He also carries out established research on Bayesian and machine learning methods for estimating chronological age in clinical and forensic settings.

He teaches Medical Statistics at the Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Healthcare Professions, as well as in the School of Specialization in Health Statistics and Biometrics. He has also gained extensive experience in seminars, workshops, and teaching the statistical software R.

He has participated in several national and European projects, including the PHIRI and InfAct Joint Actions, the European JARED project, PRIN MOTIVE, and PRIN MIGHTY, as well as regional studies on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic among healthcare workers. He is the author of numerous publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals, a speaker at national and international conferences, and has contributed to the organization of scientific events such as the 58th Annual Meeting of EDEG and the 12th National Congress of SISMEC.

He is a member of the Italian Epidemiology Association (AIE) and the Italian Society of Medical Statistics and Clinical Epidemiology (SISMEC).
