Camilla Morresi is Associate Professor of Biochemistry (SSD BIOS-07/A – Biochemistry) at the Department of Life Sciences, Health, and Health Professions at Link Campus University. She previously served as professor of Nutrigenomics in the Master's Degree Programme in Nutrition and Food Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Marche (UNIVPM). In 2025, she obtained National Scientific Qualification as an Associate Professor in the competitive sector 05/E1 – Biochemistry (SSD BIOS-07/A).
She graduated in Biology from the Polytechnic University of Marche in 2015 and attained her PhD in Biomolecular Sciences at the same university in 2020, where she subsequently carried out research as a research fellow from 2020 to 2024.
Her scientific work focuses on investigating the biochemical and molecular mechanisms of oxidative stress, with a focus on metabolic and chronic degenerative diseases.
She also studies the relationship between nutrition and health, evaluating the nutraceutical potential of bioactive compounds and contributing to the development of preventive strategies for diseases associated with alterations in redox status.
She received several national and international awards for the quality of her scientific contributions and regularly participates as a speaker at conferences in the field. She is the author of numerous publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
