Carlo Baldari is Full Professor of Methods and Didactics of Sporting Activities (MDF/02) and Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery. Coordinator of the Teaching Staff for the PhD program in “Applied Sciences in Wellness and Sustainability,” at eCampus University. PhD in Motor Sciences” at the faculty of ‘Educação Fisica e Desporto’ at UTAD University of Vila Real - Portugal. He was a member of the Teaching Staff of the course "Methods and Didactics of Sport Activitie"s (from 2002 to 2022) and a member of the Italian Society of Sport and Exercise Sciences (SISMeS). He attained the fellowship of the American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM) in 2005.
He served as “European Delegate” for the Tempus Project for the Bologna Treaty adaptation of the Tirana (Albania) Academy's Curriculum in Physical Education and Sports. He holds the position of evaluator Appointed by the Directorate General for Research Coordination and Development - Ministry of University and Research. He is Expert Reviewer for the “European Commission” - “Horizon 2020 Programme for Research and Innovation”; as well as Disciplinary Expert in Periodic Evaluation and Accreditation for the Ministry of Education and Merit. He is Chairman of the Regional Commission (Lazio) - competition “for positions and professorships, Member of the National Scientific Technical Committee. He carried out research activity on various topics related to the role of physical activity in the prevention and treatment of chronic metabolic diseases, identification of the determinants of sedentariness, methods of standardization of exercise intensity, metabolic responses to exercise, effects of supplements and drugs in exercise and sports, kinetics of lactate removal, determinants of exercise and sports efficiency, validity and reliability of functional assessment instrumentation, psychophysiological responses to exercise of self-determined intensity, perception of fatigue in the elderly, exercise prescription, physical activity and health, sports and health.
