Valentina Cillo is Associate Professor of Economics and Business Management.
She is a member of the teaching staff of the Board of Directors of the PhD Programme "Tech for Good" at Link Campus University.
She carries out research, teaching and advisory activities for businesses non-profit organizations and institutions on the following themes: Knowledge Management, Open Innovation, Technology Transfer, Innovation and Technology Management, Sustainability Management and Reporting.
She holds the position of Managing Regional Real Impact Editors – Europe for Journal of Knowledge Management (Emerald) and is editor in many top journals on the management sector, such as the Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Springer) and the Journal of Learning and Intellectual Capital (Inderscience). She is also auditor for various international "A-ranked" international magazines.
Her research was published in leading international journals in the field of management, including Journal of Business Research (ABS 3*), Technological Forecasting and Social Change (ABS 3*), International Marketing Review (ABS 3* ).
She collaborates as innovation manager with national and international businesses institutions within the context of basic and experimental development.
In 2017 she founded “Heroes: Euro-Mediterranean Co-innovation Festival”, an international initiative involving startups, multi-national enterprises, investors, universities and institutions, such as Microsoft, Ernst & Young, Tim, Geox, Unido, Commissione europea, Consob.
She is frequently invited as keynote speaker in international conferences and workshops, attaining various knowledgements and prizes, such as the Best Area Director Award received during the 11th annual Euromed Conference of the EuroMed Academy of Business.
