Ciro Emiliano Boschetti is Associate Professor of Maxillofacial Surgery, scientific sector MED/15 B, at Link Campus University, Rome.

In 2013, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Salerno.

From 11/12/2013 to 30/10/2015 he attended the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit of the Ruggi d'Aragona and San Giovanni di Dio University Hospital in Salerno under Prof. Germano Savastano for research and assistance purposes, working on a project entitled “Maxillary bone augmentation.”

In 2020, he attained a Specialist Degree in Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Naples Federico II with a grade of 50/50 with honors. 

From 2020 to 2021 he was Medical Director at the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit at Careggi University Hospital.

From 01/01/2022, to 31/12/2024, he was type A fixed-term researcher in the scientific field med/29 Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli.

He authored several publications on indexed international scientific journals.

He is Expert in the field of head and neck surgery with a particular interest in the treatment of cancer of the oral cavity and salivary glands. Thanks to his extensive training and constant updating on the latest techniques, he makes a significant contribution to the diagnosis and management of complex diseases in the multidisciplinary field of oncology.

His work stands out for its focus on a multidisciplinary approach aimed at ensuring the best possible care for patients. With a strong commitment to research and innovation, he actively collaborates with specialists from various disciplines to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

He carried out more than 1000 surgical procedures in the last 5 years.

He is currently a member of the “European Board of Oro-Maxillo-Facial Surgery” and member of the Italian Society of Maxillofacial Surgery.
