Prof. Claudio Conforti, a specialist in Dermatology and Venereology, is the scientific head of dermatologic imaging research at the IDI Center for Advanced Dermatologic Diagnostics in Rome. He currently holds the position of executive member of the International Society of Dermatoscopy (IDS), advisory member of the Italian Association of Non-Invasive Dermatological Diagnostics (AIDNID), senior member of the Italian Society of Dermatology (SIDEMAST).
He specialized at the University of Trieste with highest honors and performed international experiences to study the diagnosis and treatment of skin tumors. He has served as a research fellow at the University of Trieste. Currently, his research activity is oriented to the early diagnosis of skin tumors by dermoscopy, confocal microscopy and LC-OCT. Fuerthermore, he is interested in adult and child pathologies, trichology and laser therapy. He is the author of more than 150 scientific publications and actively participates in the congress activities of the main Italian and international dermatological societies.
