
Cristina Civilotti, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at Link Campus University. A psychologist, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist, and clinical sexologist, she earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Interpersonal Relations at the University of Turin and holds national academic certification as an Associate Professor in the field of Clinical and Dynamic Psychology.
Her scientific activity falls within the fields of clinical psychology and psychopathology, with a particular focus on traumatic processes, attachment relationships, eating disorders, dissociation, sexuality, and psycho-oncology. Over the years, she participated in several national and international research projects, collaborating with universities, research institutions, and clinical facilities in Italy and abroad.
She authored scientific articles published in peer-reviewed international journals and contributions to national and international volumes. She serves as a reviewer for scientific journals and participates in research groups studying the psychological, relational, and neurobiological processes involved in mental health and therapeutic change.
In addition to her research work, she is a member of the teaching staff of degree courses and masters as well as specialization courses in psychotherapy, focusing on the training of psychologists and psychotherapists. Furthermore, she maintains an active clinical practice as a psychotherapist, integrating her professional work with research and teaching so as to improve the dialogue between scientific evidence and clinical practice.
