Dr. Emanuele Gabriel Margherita is a researcher in Business Organization at Link Campus University. He attained the National Scientific Qualification for the functions of Associate professor for the Competion Sector 13/ECON-08 formerly 13/B3 - Business Organization. He attained a Ph.D. in Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods from the University of Tuscia, Viterbo (Italy).
Furthermore, he was appointed Visiting Scholar at the Department of Information Systems at the University of Agder (Norway) and the LENTIC Research Center at the University of Liège (Belgium). His research activity is mainly related to the impacts of Industry 4.0 technologies on organizational structure, work organization and how they can support organizational sustainability goals. Moreover, he investigated on how public administration organizes and manages smart cities projects.
In 2023, he published a monograph titled ““La sostenibilità organizzativa nell’era dell’industria 4.0: una prospettiva socio-tecnica”. His work has been published in international scientific journals, such as the International Journal of Operations & Production Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Information Systems Frontiers, Cities, Current Issues in Tourism, and The TQM Journal. Finally, his work has been presented in various national and international scientific conferences, such as EGOS, STPIS, WOA and ItAIS.
