Fabrizio Urraro is Associate Professor of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy MED/36 at Link University in Rome.

Graduated (110/110 cum laude) in 2010 in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli". 

In 2015, he attended the Advanced Diagnostic Therapeutic Technologies Department of the SST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda directed by Prof. Angelo Vanzulli with a project entitled "Study of microvascular invasion by means of computed tomography in patients with hepatocarcinoma: comparison with anatomopathological findings".

In 2016 Specialist in Radiodiagnostics with a 50/50 cum laude grade the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli". 

In 2020 he obtained a Level II Academic Master in Hepato-biliary-pancreatic Imaging at the University of Verona.

From 2019 to 2024 Level I Medical Director at the First Radiology Service of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, Critical Care and Therapeutic Area of the AOU “Luigi Vanvitelli”.

He authored several publications in international indexed scientific journals.

He is an expert in the field of Diagnostic Imaging, with a particular interest in Oncological Radiology, UroGenital Radiology and Hepatobiliopancreatic Imaging. Thanks to in-depth training and constant updating on the latest advanced imaging techniques, he makes a significant contribution to the diagnosis and management of complex pathologies.

His work is characterized by a focus on Precision Medicine through the use of state-of-the-art methodologies and a multidisciplinary approach aimed at ensuring the best patient care. With a strong commitment to research and innovation, he actively collaborates with specialists from different disciplines to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of diagnostic strategies.

He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Section of Uro Genital Radiology Biennium 2025 - 2026 SIRM (Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology) and member of the Radiology Task Force of AISP (Italian Association for the Study of the Pancreas) Biennium 2024-2025

He was Secretary SIRM (Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology), section of Diagnostic Imaging in Oncology from 2020 to 2024.
