Flavio Di Giacinto is Researcher in Physics for Life Sciences (PHYS-06/A) at the Department of Life Sciences, Health and Health Professions at Link Campus University. In 2015, he received a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Rome la Sapienza and then obtained his PhD in Neuroscience in 2020 at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. In 2020-2021, he carried out research activities at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS, with a four-month period at City University (London, UK) as a Visiting Researcher. "Between 2021 and 2024, he took the role of type A fixed-term researcher at the Department of Neuroscience - Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Her research activity is mainly related to the development of advanced diagnostic tools, through functional and multimodal imaging applied to the study of metabolic ilnesses and the design of plasmonic devices for the characterization of extracellular vesicles by IR spectroscopy.
