Francesco Pizzolorusso is a researcher at the Department of Human Sciences, Link Campus University. 

He attained a PhD in Human Relations Sciences from the University of Bari Aldo Moro. Since 2023, he has held the position of research fellow in General and Social Pedagogy at the Department of Education, Psychology and Communication Sciences at the University of Bari. 

His research interests are mainly related to the field of general and social pedagogy, focusing primarily on the topics of political and citizenship education in a digital context. His scientific publications also focus on early childhood education and the training of educators and teachers. 

In addition to various scientific contributions, he is the author of the monograph ‘Reti reali. Cittadinanza digitale e relazioni in aula’ (Real Networks: Digital Citizenship and Classroom Relationships) published by FrancoAngeli in 2024 and winner of the 2025 Italian Pedagogy Award, an award promoted by S.I.PED (Italian Society of Pedagogy).
