Prof. Guido Gabriele is a maxillofacial surgeon and a leading researcher in the field of medical biotechnology. He graduated and specialized at Sapienza University, Rome and attained a PhD at the University of Siena, where he developed his academic career, holding the position of Associate Professor until 2026.
On a scientific level, Prof. Gabriele boasts over 100 publications indexed on Scopus, an H-index of 20, and over 1,000 citations. He also serves as a reviewer and member of the editorial board of prestigious international journals.
His vision combines clinical excellence with technological innovation, focusing on the cross-disciplinary integration of surgery with other disciplines such as robotics, advanced sensor technology, AI, and regenerative medicine, with the aim of developing pioneering solutions.
Throughout his research activities, he has attracted over €1 million in funding, coordinating projects involving institutions and researchers of international standing.
His research activities are complemented by solid clinical experience, with over 2.500 surgical procedures performed in the fields of maxillofacial surgery and microsurgery.
