Giada Marinensi is Fixed-term Extraordinary Professor at Link Campus University. She coordinates the Serious Game and Gamification (SG&G) Research Group, an interdisciplinary team of Link professors and researchers with specific skills in the fields of digital learning, game-based learning, serious games and gamification.
His main research interests are related to the use of digital technologies to support teaching and learning processes, with particular focus on serious games, educational gamification and interactive storytelling. She has also been certified as a LEGO facilitator. Serious Play™ and as flipped learning trainer.
She was scientific coordinator for various national and international research projects, including: CT&ML - Formation of Critical Thinking and Media Literacy as Protection Against Media (Erasmus+, KA2, HE); FACTIVE - Flipped classroom training Approach for Clothing and Textile Innovative VET Education (Erasmus+, KA2, VET); TECLO - Textile and Clothing Knowledge Alliance (Erasmus+, Knowledge Alliance); Saperi e competenze in matematica e in lettura (Fondo per lo Sviluppo e la Coesione 2007-2013, Azioni formative dirette, rivolte agli studenti delle scuole campane).
Furthermore, she carried out consultancy activities on the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies to support training and communication processes, at various institutions and companies including: Agenzia delle Entrate, Ricerca sul Sistema Energia - RSE S.p.A., Ministry of Economic Development, Alitalia, Sogei.
