Guido Carlomagno is adjunct professor of International Economics at Link Campus University in Rome. Combining an academic background in macroeconomics and a professional background in banking and finance, he focuses on economic policy and monetary innovations.
Currently his research activity focuses on digital central bank currencies and their impacts on credit and monetary policy mechanisms. Additional areas of interest more broadly include the history of economic thought, theories of value and distribution, and processes of financialization in the global economy.
