Lorenzo Rum, Ph.D. is a researcher in Human Movement Sciences at Link University. Qualified as an associate professor (ASN 06/N2), he has over eight years of experience in biomechanical and neuromuscular research applied to rehabilitation and sports, with particular focus on Paralympic sports, functional classification and wearable technologies for movement assessment. He collaborated with national and international institutions such as the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the Defence, the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre, the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies and Loughborough University, publishing more than 20 peer-reviewed articles and participating in national and international projects in the field of clinical and sports biomechanics.  His work combines research, academic teaching and technological innovation to improve the performance and quality of life of people with disabilities or chronic conditions.
