Lucia Memè is Tenure Track Researcher in Odontostomatological Diseases at Link Campus University. In 2001, she graduated honors in Dentistry at the Polytechnic University of Marche. In 2014, she attained a specialisation in Orthodontics, at the University of L'Aquila.
Between 2015 and 2021 she was appointed Substitute Adjunct Professor for the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the Università Politecnica delle Marche for the Official Course in Orthodontic Techniques. In 2021, following a competitive procedure, she became a temporary type A researcher at the Università Politecnica delle Marche and was assigned the chair of Orthodontics.
In December 2023, she attained the qualification as Associate Professor following Ministerial Selection (ASN).
In 2024, she obtained an extension of her fixed-term type A researcher contract for a further two years at the Università Politecnica delle Marche. 
Her research activity in the orthodontic field is mainly related to the study of systems that accelerate therapeutic treatment, with a focus on clear aligners. Her research also focuses on orthopaedic therapy in children with the use of new intra-oral devices and paediatric management of procedural pain. She is also involved in research in the field of guided bone regeneration with the use of bone foils and new biomaterials.
She authored more than 52 publications in internationally indexed scientific journals. She is Guest Editor and Peer Reviewer for international journals. She is a speaker at numerous international congresses, winner of international prizes and awards, and thesis advisor for numerous degree dissertations. She is co-author of two international patents. She is an active member of the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO), the Italian Society of Child Dentistry (SIOI), and is a member of the College of Dentistry (CDUO).
