Lucia Memè is an Associate Professor of Odontostomatological Diseases (MEDS-16/A) at the Department of Life Sciences, Health, and Health Professions at Link Campus University in Rome, where she also serves as Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry, Macerata Branch.
She graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the Polytechnic University of Marche in 2001 and earned her specialty degree in Orthodontics, also with honors, from the University of L’Aquila in 2014. After teaching as an adjunct professor at the Polytechnic University of the Marche, she served as a fixed-term researcher at the same university from 2021 to 2024, teaching Orthodontics. In 2025, she attained the National Academic Qualification to serve as a Full Professor.
Her research focuses on orthodontics, with a particular interest in treatment acceleration techniques, clear aligners, orthopedic therapy for pediatric patients, the management of procedural pain in pediatric dentistry, and a multidisciplinary approach to patients with OSAS. Furthermore, she specializes in guided bone regeneration using bone sheets and innovative biomaterials.
She authored over 60 international scientific publications. Furthermore, she is a guest editor and peer reviewer for indexed scientific journals, a speaker at national and international conferences, a co-author of two international patents, and the recipient of numerous scientific awards and honors. She is an active member of the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO), the Italian Society of Pediatric Dentistry (SIOI), and the College of University Professors of Odontostomatological Disciplines (CDUO).
OFFICE HOURS
The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
