Manuel Favaro is a fixed-term researcher at Link Campus University, in the field of Italian Linguistics. He obtained a master's degree and doctorate at Sapienza University of Rome. In 2024, he attained the National Scientific Qualification as a full professor in the competitive sector 10/F3 – Italian Linguistics and Philology. From 2020 to 2026, he was a research fellow and scholarship holder at the CNR-Antonio Zampolli Institute of Computational Linguistics. From 2021 to 2025, he was also an adjunct professor of Italian Linguistics at LUMSA University, and from 2023 to 2025 also at Sapienza University, Rome.
He authored articles and monographs in the field of Italian linguistics and language history, he also specializes in automatic language processing methodologies, with particular reference to historical varieties of Italian.
OFFICE HOURS
The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
