Dr. Marco Bocchetti holds the position of fixed-term Researcher at the Department of Life Sciences, Health and Health Professions of Link Campus University. After graduating in Pharmacy at the University of Naples 'Federico II' in 2017, he obtained a PhD in Biochemical and Biotechnological Sciences at the University of Campania 'Luigi Vanvitelli' conducting advanced research on precision gene therapy for hepatocarcinoma and prostate carcinoma, also thanks to his stay at the John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre of Nottingham Trent University. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Bocchetti has gained extensive experience in the use of advanced cellular and molecular biology techniques, in the management of in vitro and in vivo preclinical models, in cytofluorimetry and sorting methods, and in state-of-the-art NGS techniques (single cell/nuclear). He has worked between the Institute of Genetic Research 'Gaetano Salvatore' (BioGeM Scarl) and the Department of Precision Medicine at the University of Campania 'Luigi Vanvitelli' focusing on the study of microRNAs and long non-coding RNAs in various neoplasms and also focusing on liquid biopsy approaches.
