Maria Filomia is an Associate Professor in the scientific-disciplinary field PAED-01/A - General and Social Pedagogy, affiliated to the Scientific-Disciplinary Group 11/PAED-01 - Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy and Education. She received a Ph.D. in Humanities and Science of Education at the University of Perugia.
Her main areas of research include childhood culture, with a focus on the 0-6 year old segment; children's literature, with a focus on issues of inclusion; and the history of education.
