Maria Grazia Lourdes Monaco

Maria Grazia Lourdes Monaco is an Associate Professor at Link Campus University, where, since 1 June 2026, she has been engaged in research and teaching in Occupational Medicine. She previously served as a Tenure-Track Researcher (Type B) at the University of Verona, in collaboration with the Integrated University Hospital of Verona. 

Her research focuses on workplace health protection and prevention, with particular attention to radiation protection, ergonomics, biomechanical overload, healthcare-related risks, and the prevention of violence and harassment in occupational settings. She has contributed to several national and international research projects, including SCISSOR, ORCHESTRA, and Uni4Equity, and her scientific output includes 96 publications, including original articles, conference papers, and book chapters. 

She also has extensive clinical experience in Occupational Medicine, including health surveillance, specialist consultancy, and service as Company Physician and Authorised Physician in university and corporate settings. In addition, she has broad teaching experience in health-related degree programmes and at the Specialisation School in Occupational Medicine at the University of Verona.
