A surgeon specialising in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, he graduated with honours in Medicine in November 2003 and specialised in Orthopaedics and Traumatology in November 2008 at "La Sapienza" University, Rome. In September 2018, he attained the qualification as Associate Professor in "Diseases of the Musculoskelet Apparatus and Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine", conferred by M.I.U.R. (Ministry of Education, University and Research). Since 19/06/2024, he has been Associate Professor in Diseases of the Musculoskeletar System and Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine at the Link Campus University in Rome.
He has over 20 years of clinical and surgical experience in the field of Orthopaedics and Traumatology with particular expertise in arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder and knee.
He was participated in several national and international conventions as speaker. He directed and participated in several research groups at a national level in collaboration with "La Sapienza" University, Rome and "University of Messina" and at international level in collaboration with "Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel-Vrije" in Brussels (Belgium).
He authored several publications on important international scientific journals.
Between 2016 and 2024, he tutored resident doctors from various national and international universities (Argentina, India, Colombia).
During his years of specialisation, he carried out several training placements at foreign hospital institutions (St. Mary's Hospital, London - IM2S Monaco-Monte Carlo).
He is a member of the Medical Team of the Nitto ATP Finals, Turin since 2023.
He is the Medical Director of the Italian Men's and Women's National Padel Team and Medical Director of “Italy Major Premier Padel“, Rome since 2022.
From 2017 to 2022, he was Medical Director of the Next Gen ATP Finals, Milan.
He is a member of the Medical Team of the BNP Paribas ATP World Tour "Internazionali BNL d'Italia", Rome since 2011.
In 2010, he was Medical Director of the 'Internazionali BNL d'Italia' Sony Ericsson WTA World Tour, Rome.
