Marco Nicolosi is associate professor of Mathematic Methods of Economics and actuarial and financial science at Link Campus University.

Previously, he worked as quantitative analist at the quantitative finance group Capitalia SpA and as researcher at the University of Perugia. He graduated with honors in Physics and attained a PhD in Physics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

His research activity is mainly related to socially responsible investments and portfolio management. Currently he is the Principal Investigator of the project "The resilience of Sustainable Finance," PRIN call PNRR 2022.

He was visiting researcher at the Centre for Finance of the University of Göteborg, and at the Baruch College, New York. In 2020, he was member of the "Green Bond workgroup" for the Ministry of environment and protection of the territory. During the period 2017-2019, he coordinated the project "Analisi di impatto degli Investimenti Socialmente Responsabili sul rischio sistemico”, co-financed by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Perugia. In 2015, he participated to the project Analysis and comparison of the yields of possible investments (in 2005-2007) of the funds collected by Poste Italiane S.p.a. through the offer of postal current accounts, commissioned by the EUROPEAN COMMISSION (COMP/2014/017). During the period 2013-2014, he collaborated with ARPM.co. During the period 2008-2012, he participated in the project The sustainable investment research platform (SIRP), financed by MISTRA, the Swedish foundation for strategic environmental research, on themes related to ethical finance.

He authored various articles and essays published on international specialist magazines, such as Journal of Fianancial Stability, Journal of Banking and Finance, Computational Management Science, Annals of Operations Research and was a speaker at various national and international conferences.
