
Riccardo D’Ambrosi is a surgeon specializing in orthopedics and traumatology. Currently, he is associate professor of musculoskeletal disorders at Link Campus University and an orthopedic surgeon at the IRCCS Galeazzi–Sant’Ambrogio Hospital. He performs clinical and surgical procedures focused on the knee, sports medicine, and advanced arthroscopic surgery, with over 400 operations performed as lead surgeon since 2022.
He is Principal Investigator of several clinical studies on anterior cruciate ligament, meniscus, and cartilage reconstruction, with a scientific output of over 200 indexed articles, an H-index of 29, and numerous international collaborations. A member of ISAKOS, ESSKA, SIAGASCOT, ACL Study Group, and IQTI, he holds editorial positions in indexed journals and actively participates in national and international research projects.
An invited speaker at numerous conferences and winner of multiple scientific awards, he combines clinical practice, research, and teaching, with a particular interest in knee surgery, sports traumatology, and innovation in the biological and radiological fields.
