Tommaso Sica is a tenure track researcher ex art. 24 L. 240/2010 at Link Campus University, Rome, where he teaches Civil Law II, Introduction to Private Law and Fundamentals of Law.
He graduated with honours from the University of Roma Tre with a final dissertation on contract law. In 2022, he obtained his PhD in private law (cycle XXXIV) with a final dissertation on the law of obligations at the same university. He carried out a period of study in Germany (Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg) and in the United Kingdom (Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in London). He was a research fellow in private law at the Scuola Superiore Meridionale in Naples and qualified as associate professor in 2023 for the sector IUS/01 - GIUR-01/A.
He authored a monograph on the law of obligations and several contributions, in books and in leading scientific journals, in the areas of, among others, contract law, real rights, inheritance law, civil liability, sports law and the law of new technologies.
He is a member of the Association of Italian Civil Lawyers, the Italian Society of Civil Law Scholars (SISDIC) and the Italian Association of Comparative Law (AIDC). Furthermore, he is a member of editorial boards of several class A scientific journals.
He is a lawyer since 2020.
OFFICE HOURS
The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
