Valentina Volpi is an adjunct professor of "Social Innovation and Transformation Design" for the Master's Degree Course in "Communication Technologies and Languages" at Link Campus University. At the same university she runs several teaching workshops on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Making an effective presentation and Designing and presenting a social enterprise idea, applying teaching methodologies based on collaboration, learning by doing and project-based learning (PBL).  Furthermore, she carries out research and development activity within the framework of funded and non-funded research projects and promotes initiatives of social innovation aimed at favouring the exchange of knowledge and projects between the university and the region. In the past, she has collaborated with various research centres as a research fellow, including CATTID at Sapienza-University of Rome and DASIC at Link Campus University.  Her main research interests are Social Innovation, Human-Centred Design and Design Thinking with a focus on Co-design and UX/Service Design in smart cities and territories. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Publishing, Multimedia Communication and Journalism, with a focus on Digital Communication, from Sapienza-University of Rome and is an Academic Doctor of Research in Interaction Design.

OFFICE HOURS
The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, during the periods of suspension of the lessons, the students may also request an appointment by email.
