Virginia Campani is Associate Professor of Technology, Socioeconomics and Regulation of Medicines at the Department of Life Sciences, Health and Health Professions, Link Campus University, Rome. In 2015, she completed her PhD in Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Naples Federico II, focusing her research on the development of innovative formulations for the topical administration of vitamin K1.
Dr Campani worked at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Naples Federico II, focusing her research on the development of new lipid systems for the delivery of bioactive molecules such as RNA (siRNA, miRNA, mRNA) for the treatment of different forms of cancer. A second line of research concerns the development of new delivery strategies for the cutaneous delivery of drugs.
Dr Campani authored 40 papers published in international journals, book chapters, is co-inventor of several patents and has participated in numerous international scientific congresses.
