Orientation at Secondary Schools

The incoming orientation activities provided by Link Campus University to Secondary School students aims to provide support to the choice processes with extensive and detailed information on the currently available learning pathways; as well as to present possible career opportunities. The orientation activities realized at secondary schools are primarily aimed at the discovery of soft skills and personal vocations, useful in the process of defining growth paths.

The activities include the presentation of the educational offer provided by the university assisted by the presence of teaching staff and university students. Furthermore, the candidates will have the opportunity to attend thematic workshops, held by members of the teaching staff and aimed at exploring lecture topics and/or reflect on topics of current interest in various areas of knowledge. The objective of the meetings is to identify the interests and inclinations of the candidates so as to promote a conscious choices, and to help them build their own growth project.

In particular, Link Campus University took part in the following initiatives: “Orientamento attivo nella transizione scuola-università” – Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza, Missione 4 “Istruzione e ricerca” – Componente 1 “Potenziamento dell’offerta dei servizi all’istruzione: dagli asili nido all’Università” – Investimento 1.6 “Orientamento attivo nella transizione scuola – università”, finanziato dall’Unione europea – NextGenerationEU. The University, in coordination with other universities of Regione Lazio, is organizing a series of orientation courses aimed at students of the last three years of secondary school, aimed at the continuation of the studies at a higher level. The courses are implemented in presence and are articulated into 5 daily modules, 3 hours each, focused on issues of the university education scenario, personal characteristics and how to choose the most appropriate postgraduate pathway.

The guidance provided in this context applies to the incoming phase of the orientation process.
