Tindara Caprì is Associate Professor of General Psychology at Link Campus University. In 2011, she graduated with honors in Psychology at the University of Messina. At the same university, she attained a PhD in Cognitive Science and Psychology, and attained a post-doctorate scholarship. Subsequently, she attained a post-doctorate research grant financed by Luxembourg FNR.
Currently, she is a member of the Disability Committee; and the Joint Teaching Staff/Student Committee of Link Campus University.
She coordinated the research and scientific activity of the Italian Rett Syndrome Association. She is associate professor at the Institute for Biomedical Research and Innovation - National Council of Research - Messina (IRIB-CNR). She is a member of the editorial board of various international maagazines indexed on scopus. She is Principal Investigator in the national research project 'SECRA', financed by Prin 2022 (prot. no. 1016 of 7 July 2023).
Her research activity is mainly related to the organization of behaviour and basic psychological functions, with particular reference to processes of attention and memory, automated and controlled processes, with possible applicational effects on Attention Deficits and Hyperactivity, through various experimental methods related to general psychology. Her most recent researchs are related to the application of new technologies, social robotics, virtual reality and treadmill, aimed at the study and enhancement of basic cognitive processes.
She authored more than 50 publications on scientific magazines indexed on an international level. She is a member of the editorial board of various international magazines. She is Guest Associate Editor e Topic editor for the magazine Frontiers in Psychology for Clinical Setting.

The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
