Chiara Lucifora is Associate Professor of General Psychology at Link Campus University, specializing in the use of Virtual Reality systems in Cognitive Sciences. She graduated with honors in Cognitive Science from the University of Messina in 2017, where she began her research activity with a postgraduate research grant and subsequently obtained her PhD in Cognitive Science in 2021.
In 2022, she began collaborating on a research grant with the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies (ISTC) of the National Research Council (CNR) in Rome, where she currently holds the position of
Associate Researcher.
From 2023 to 2025, he worked as a Fixed-Term Researcher (type A) in PSIC/01-A at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, serving as Task Leader for the PNRR-FAIR (Future Artificial Intelligence Research, Spoke 8.7) project. She is currently Co-Scientific Director of the XR-GRACE Lab at the same university.
During her academic career, she has been a visiting scholar at the Human-Tech Institute in Fribourg, Switzerland, in 2021 and at the IFADO Leibniz Research Center for Working Environment and Human Factors in Dortmund, Germany, in 2024.
