Cristina Scavone is Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the Link University. She graduated in Pharmacy at the University of Naples "Federico II" and she obtained a Doctorate in Translational Medicine at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" in December 2018. In 2023 she obtained the Specialization Course in Epidemiology and Biostatistics for Population Studies at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Rome) and at the same University in 2024 the Master course in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
Since 2013 she has been conducted research activities focused on the topic of clinical pharmacology, pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance at the Department of Experimental Medicine of the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" and the Pharmacovigilance Center of the Campania Region. She is a member of the Italian Society of Pharmacology.
From 2015 to 2017 she carried out research activities at St. George Hospital in London (UK). Since 2016 she has taught at the European Master in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology coordinated by the University of Bordeaux (Eu2P).
From 2020 to 2022 she was Responsible for the Campania Region of the multi-regional study Vigifarmacovax, funded by the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA).
From September 2020 to November 2024 she held the role of Type A fixed-term Researcher at the Department of Experimental Medicine of the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli".
OFFICE HOURS
The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
