A surgeon specializing in Hygiene, Epidemiology, and Public Health. Associate Professor of Public Health and General and Applied Hygiene at Link Campus University, where he teaches in the Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery and in Dentistry at the Marche Branches (Fano and Macerata). His work focuses on several areas critical to public health and health services:
Health Services Research, Implementation Science, health services management and organization, epidemiology, prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and innovative technologies supporting health care systems. He teaches general and applied hygiene, health services management and evaluation, quality of care, health information systems, and digital health
He is a medical expert in medical devices, specializing in clinical evaluation under the MDR/MDD for various MDN codes, including software-as-a-medical-device. He holds two patents and is the author of over 130 scientific articles, more than 110 of which are indexed in Scopus, as well as publications in Q1 and Q2 journals in the fields of public health, epidemiology, health services research, and digital technologies (ORCID ID: 0000-0001-7331-9520).
Since 2022, he has been included in the annual list of the “top 2% of scientists” in the world, compiled by Stanford University.
