Filippo Migliorini is Associate Professor at the Department of Life Sciences, Health and Health Professions at Link Campus University, Rome.

Graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, he completed his fellowship in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Department of Orthopedics, Traumatology, and Reconstructive Surgery of the University Hospital of North Rhine-Westphalia (RWTH) in Germany, and earned his Ph.D. in Biomechanics from the School of Medicine at the same university. He also holds an MBA and several postgraduate qualifications in the medical, scientific, and management fields. Since 2022, he has been the founder and Director of the Clinical Orthopedics Research Center at the Eifelklinik St. Brigida in Simmerath, Germany, where he conducts clinical and translational research of international significance and has developed one of the world’s largest prospective case series in robotic surgery.

His scientific work is mainly focused on orthopedic and trauma surgery, biomechanics, prosthetic surgery, sports medicine, orthobiology, and evidence-based medicine, with particular expertise in clinical trials, meta-analyses, and Bayesian models. He has conducted research and provided training at prestigious international institutions, including the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

He authored more than 500 peer-reviewed scientific publications indexed in PubMed, with an H-index of 58 and over 15,000 citations. Since 2021, he has been included in the “World’s Top 2% Scientists” ranking, compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier.

He is a member of the editorial and scientific boards of several international journals and societies in the fields of orthopedics, traumatology, regenerative medicine, and sports medicine. Among other roles, he serves as Executive Editor of the *Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology*, the official journal of the Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology. He has also taught at universities and university hospitals in Italy and abroad and has participated in humanitarian missions in Africa. Since 2023, he has been practicing clinical and surgical work in Italy.
