Giuseppina Laganà is Research Fellow in Tenure Track (RTT) of Odontostomatologic Diseases (MEDS-16/A) at the Department of Life Sciences, Health, and Health Professions, Link Campus University, Rome.
Graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics with honours in 1996 at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Specialist in Orthodontics with distinction in 2000 at the University of Rome Sapienza.
She attained a PhD in Materials for Health, Environment and Energy (Materials for Dentistry Area), XXIX Cycle in 2017, at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She was research fellow at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Rome "La Sapienza" (2001-2003).
Adjunct Professor at the Postgraduate School of Orthodontics Tor Vergata University (2008-2022). Researcher TD at the Department of Odontostomatological Sciences, University of Rome Tor Vergata, scientific sector MED/28 (2010-2013). Eligible for the role of professor of the second band, announcement D.D. 2175/2018 competition sector 06/F1 (2020-2031).

Reviewer for impacted journals (BMC Oral Health, Progress in Orthodontics, Applied Sciences, Medicine, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Journal of Clinical Medicine). Guest Editor of Special Issues in impacted journals.
She won several research awards. She acted as speaker at several national and international congresses. Her main lines of research are the following: OSAS and respiratory problems, Marfan syndrome, dental anomalies, orthodontic therapy with aligners, epidemiological investigations.
