Graziella Di Grezia graduated with honour in Medicine and Surgery at the Second University of Naples, where she also attained a PhD in Pharmacological Sciences and Clinical and Experimental Medicine, after specialising in Radiodiagnostics at the same university.
She carried out part of her training at the Institut Jules Bordet in Brussels, developing advanced skills in breast diagnostics and customised imaging. She attained a 2nd Level Academic Maste in Breast Diagnostics and Interventional Surgery the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
During her career, she held positions of responsibility as Medical Director at the National Cancer Institute IRCCS Fondazione G. Pascale and ASL Hospitals in Naples and Avellino, contributing to the development of innovative diagnostic protocols for oncological follow-up.
She was scientific head of the Mammographic Screening programme for the Avellino Local Health Authority, where she held the position of High Speciality in Senological Diagnostics.She was a professor of Anatomy and Radioprotection courses, as well as a tutor for students of Medicine, Physiotherapy and Radiodiagnostics residents at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli"
Currently, she is an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Senology Section of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology (SIRM), for the three-year period 2025-2027.
She participated as speaker at various national and international scientific congresses and authored more than 100 publications in indexed journals.
She is a reviewer and editorial board member for various scientific journals in the field.
Her research activity focuses on advanced breast diagnostics, cancer prevention and the integration of innovative technologies in clinical radiology.
OFFICE HOURS
The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
