DEGREE COURSE

The study of Physiotherapy means embarking on a pathway that combines a passion for health, an interest in the science of movement, and a desire to concretely help people regain autonomy, functionality, and quality of life. The aim of the Bachelor's Degree Course in Physiotherapy at LINK Campus University is to train highly qualified professionals, who are able to intervene with competence and responsibility in the processes of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.

Accredited by Ministerial Decree n. 363 issued on 17.04.2025, the course qualifies directly for professional practice and consists of three intensive and structured years, during which theory and practice intertwine from the first semester.

A DYNAMIC AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING COURSE

The learning pathway is divided into six semesters. The first year lays the scientific foundations, with a solid propaedeutic preparation that provides an understanding of the main physiological and pathological mechanisms of the human body. The second year introduces the pathologies subject to rehabilitation treatment, delving into the sciences of rehabilitation. Finally, the third year is oriented towards the acquisition of specialized and professional skills, with a strong focus on direct experience.

Teaching activities include lessons, practical workshops, seminars and supervised clinical placements in public and private healthcare facilities. This approach allows the students not only to learn physiotherapy techniques, but also to develop relational and behavioural skills that are fundamental for working in teams and interacting effectively with patients.

IThe internship is not only an educational experience, but a real bridge to the world of work: through the alternation between study and practice, each student builds a solid and conscious professional identity.

SOLID SKILLS FOR AN EVOLVING PROFESSION

Upon completion of the learning pathway, the candidates will become a professional figure with a broad and modern vision the role of physiotherapist. They will not only be able to apply techniques, but also to plan and customize the rehabilitation pathway according to the specific needs of the singular subject, intervening at every stage of life: from developmental age to senescence.

A thorough preparation in the biomedical and clinical disciplines will help the students to face even the most complex cases with scientific rigour. Thanks to an evidence-based approach, the students will acquire the tools to critically evaluate scientific literature and keep up to date, thus improving their personal skills and quality of therapeutic intervention over time.

The knowledge of a foreign language of the European Union, in addition to italian, will provide further career opportunities in international contexts, while the communication and interpersonal skills developed during the course of studies will allow the candidates to operate with empathy and humanity in all clinical situations.

CONCRETE AND DIVERSIFIED PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Currently, the physiotherapist is a central figure in the healthcare landscape, increasingly in demand due to the ageing population and the increase in chronic-degenerative conditions. Once they have graduated, professionals can immediately enter the world of work, thanks to a title that directly qualifies them for the profession.

The main areas of employment range from public health facilities to private rehabilitation centres, from specialist clinics to home services. Physiotherapists work in hospitals, research institutes, foundations, RSAs, outpatient clinics, individual or associated practices and even in sports, spa or wellness settings. There is no shortage of opportunities in the liberal professions and in international cooperation, within NGOs and global health projects.
