Professor of Statistics, she is part of the Board of Directors of the DiTES Research Center, a place for building relationships between different worlds to contribute to cultural, social change and innovation. Her main research mainly related to advanced statistical methodologies for the support of social and managerial decision-making processes. In particular:
- she is an expert in computational and application aspects of graphical models and Bayesian networks, for the analysis of dependencies between ordinal and mixed nominal-ordinal variables;
- she is part of ministry-funded research projects to analyze the digital impact on identity evolution;
- she collaborates with several universities at national level to build indicators and models for analyzing gender equity, with a focus on the gender pay-gap;
- she applies multivariate statistical methods for analyzing the diffusion of digital skills in schools and universities and validating questionnaires;
- she is interested in measuring and monitoring the quality of public services, benchmarking and cultural heritage management.
OFFICE HOURS
The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
