Purposes

Dentistry is a health discipline that deals with the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of problems related to the dental arches and oral cavity. With the increasing demand for aesthetic improvements, it has become essential to integrate treatments that also improve facial appearance.
The Master in Dental Aesthetic Medicine aims to provide advanced skills to address facial ageing processes and treat patients with dysmorphisms, optimizing the aesthetic effects of dental, orthodontic and prosthetic procedures through facial soft tissue rejuvenation techniques.

Composition of the Face:

  1. Bone and Joint Structure: Essential for aesthetic interventions respecting the harmony of the face.
  2. Muscle-Tendon Composition: Operating on the muscles and tendons of the face to improve appearance without altering natural expressions.
  3. Cellular and Skin Composition: Use fillers, botox, suspension wires, lasers and other advanced technologies to improve skin hydration, texture and tone.

The training allows dentists to update their knowledge and integrate aesthetic medicine methods into daily clinical practice.

Advanced Treatment and Techniques

  1. Dermal fillers and biostimulation
  2. Botox, including off-label applications
  3. Latest-generation suspension wires
  4. Lasers (fractional CO2, Alexandrite, Erbium, Nd:YAG, diode)
  5. Radiofrequency, HIFU, microneedling and IPL technologies, carboxytherapy

The Master provides for internships at prestigious locations such as Rome, Milan and Salerno, offering high-level practical experience. The learning pathway enhances professional skills and patient satisfaction through state-of-the-art aesthetic treatments.

The Coordinator of the Master and the Scientific Board have a clear vision: creating an educational pathway that does not end with the attainment of the qualification, but becomes a lasting point of reference throughout the candidate's professional life. This approach aims to encourage the continuous exchange of information and the creation of moments of professional aggregation, promoting constant growth towards increasingly ambitious goals.

Furthermore, the Master aims to promote a new cultural and professional perspective for modern dentistry, expanding knowledge and valorizing clinical practice with aesthetic methods that harmonize mouth and face, while respecting the individual and the principle of Professional Ethics.

Target students and career opportunities

The dentist and surgeon graduating from the Master will acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in facial aesthetics in all its forms, applied to dentistry, applying their activities in independent practices, multi-specialist centres, wellness centres, gyms, beauty farms and spas, as well as in the industry sector for the design and production of devices.
