Academic Collaboration

The Master is organized in collaboration with Digital Dentistry Society ( Digital-Dentistry.org ) Società Scientifica internazionale leader in tecnologie digitali applicate all'odontoiatria.

All candidates who complete the course and pass the final exam will receive a second level master in Digital Dentistry and Artificial Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence worth 60 credits (CFU).

Digital Dentistry Society

Purposes

The purpose of the master is to provide clinicians with the tools necessary for a proper diagnostic and clinical approach through the use of all modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence.

Students will be introduced to the modern approach to daily clinical practice, from diagnosis to implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation, and will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience using the most advanced devices, learning how to use them correctly.

In summary, the Master aims to teach students how to develop an appropriate diagnostic approach and formulate a treatment plan using modern digital technologies, thereby laying the foundation for a contemporary approach to the profession.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of digital devices and the use of artificial intelligence.

Future developments involving the use of augmented reality and robotics will also be addressed.

Target Students

Admission to the Master requires one of the following academic qualifications (or a degree to be completed by the enrollment deadline):

  • Master’s degree and/or specialized degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics
  • Master’s degree and/or specialized degree in Medicine and Surgery with a specialization in Dentistry or a license to practice dentistry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery

The following individuals may also apply:

  • applicants who hold an equivalent academic degree from a foreign university
  • applicants with a foreign academic degree that is equivalent in duration and content

The University reserves the right to admit applicants with different degrees that are relevant to the Master.

Educational Purposes

The educational purpose is to develop specialized skills in the use of intraoral and facial scanners, CBCT, 3D printers, diagnostic and planning software, and the entire digital workflow.

The integration of artificial intelligence into clinical processes will be explored in depth.

Candidates will be able to practice their profession using the essential modern tools provided by the most advanced technologies currently available.

Didactics

The Master, established pursuant to Ministerial Decree 270/2004, lasts 12 months and requires a total of 1500 hours, divided as follows:

  • Synchronous classes in a virtual classroom and in person: to interact directly with instructors according to a scheduled calendar.
  • Independent study and research activities: to independently explore and reinforce the content learned in the Master.
  • Written assignments with editorial components: to hone document drafting skills.
  • Internship: the opportunity to complete an internship at qualified companies and institutions, including those located abroad.

Master Diploma

The final exam consists of the preparation and presentation of a (project work) based on a real-world case study, to be presented in person before an examining board. Upon passing the exam, the Master will be awarded.

Tuition

The annual tuition for the registration to the Master is € 4.500,00.

The master takes a theoretical and practical approach aimed at providing training in the proper use of modern digital technologies. The courses offered at Link Campus University are designed to provide basic theoretical and methodological knowledge and consist of lectures, webinars, and seminars.
