Territorial Scholarships for the Branch of Città di Castello

For some time now, the Rome Branch of Link Campus University has been pursuing a very important project aimed at creating a new branch located in Upper Tiber Valley. In the last few days, the university has received accreditation from the Ministry of Universities and Research for the Degree Course in Primary Education Sciences (LM/85 Bis), which is qualifying for teaching in pre-schools and primary schools. The course will be held at the Città di Castello branch of the University, and will last five years; has a limited number of students and therefore access is subject to passing a selection test.

There are many young people who dream of becoming teachers and embarking on this important career pathway.

For those born or resident the Upper Tiber Valley and in the neighbouring provinces, the University offers an extra opportunity: territorial scholarships to enroll in the new Primary Education Sciences course, for the entire study cycle. In particular:

  • Annual scholarships worth €1,000, for a total value of €5,000 for those born or resident in the municipalities of the Upper Tiber Valley of Umbria-Tuscany: Città di Castello, Anghiari, Caprese Michelangelo, Citerna, Lisciano Niccone, Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, Monterchi, Montone, Pietralunga, Pieve Santo Stefano, San Giustino, Sansepolcro and Umbertide.

  • Annual scholarships worth 500 Euro, for a total value of 2500 Euro, for those born or resident in the remaining municipalities of Umbria and the province of Arezzo and for those born or resident in the municipalities of the province of Pesaro-Urbino.

This initiative was strongly desired by the Board of Directors of Link Campus University in order to support the education of all those who put study first, but also to gratify the entire territory that has immediately supported the opening of the Città di Castello Branch of Link Campus University.

As many as 460 places are available for the 2023/24 academic year and the entrance test will be held on Wednesday 20 September in Rome. Registration for the selective test will end on Monday 18 September at 09:00 and is possible on the www.unilink.it website by accessing the dedicated section on the home page. There is no cost for taking part in the selective test this year.

Students already enrolled in the test at another university can also enroll in the one offered by Link and then decide where to take the test depending on available places and access possibilities.

In addition, the Education Science graduates who wish to enroll in the Primary Education Sciences degree course for the 2023/24 academic year may enter the third year directly, subject to passing the entrance test.

Students who are taking Education Sciences, or who have already graduated from another degree course, can enter the second or third year of Primary Education Sciences, again subject to passing the entrance test. With this single-cycle degree, at the end of their studies, many new graduates will immediately have the concrete possibility of being permanently employed in the world of education.
