The Master's Degree Course in Advanced Global Management aims to train candidates able to aspire to highly qualified positions in public, private and nonprofit business organizations with tasks including supporting the top management and/or functional team (administration and finance, planning and control, strategic marketing, supply chain management e-business innovation, industry 4.0).
The course provides skills in the techniques and methodologies of design, implementation and management in the areas of:
- management management (for example, strategy, global scenarios);
- various business functions (for example, finance, administration, management, management control, marketing, business innovation).
The training course adopts the interdisciplinarity typical of the graduate class with teaching methodologies combining solid theoretical training and an experiential perspective. Furthermore, the course provides soft skills (team work, problem solving, leadership, communication skills, etc.) that are increasingly important in the labour market.
The teaching, inspired by the principle of learning by doing, is enriched by moments of in-depth study - seminars, workshops, laboratories - with experts in the field, as well as internships and placements at institutions, organizations and companies.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The students aiming to enroll in the Master's Degree in Advanced Global Management (Class LM-77) must hold a Bachelor's Degree or another suitable degree obtained in accordance with the regulations in force or a degree obtained abroad that is equivalent. The students may participate in the admission and/or selection test only if they have in their study plan at least 36 credits within the following subject areas, at least 12 of which are in the business field:
- Economics (SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03, SECS-P/04, SECS-P/05, SECS-P/06, SECS-P/12)
- Law (IUS/01, IUS/02, IUS/04, IUS/05, IUS/07, IUS/09, IUS/10)
- Business (SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/09, SECS-P/010, SECS-P/11, SECS-P/13)
- Mathematics - statistics (MAT/01, MAT/06, MAT/09, SECS-S/01, SECS-S/03, SECS-S/04, SECS-S/06)
- IT - Engineering (INF/01, ING-INF/05, ING-IND/35)
- Sociology (SPS/07, SPS/08, SPS/09, SPS/10, SPS/11, SPS/12)
For graduates from foreign universities, the adequacy of the curricular requirements will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in order to favour the coherence between the programmes carried out in the various subject areas, the educational basis deemed necessary for the advanced training offered by the course of study, as well as language knowledge.
Furthermore, linguistic knowledge and skills consistent with the language of the degree and/or the individual curriculum are also required. Native speakers and holders of appropriate language certificates are exempt from this requirement.
Without prejudice to the aforementioned admission requirements, in order to lead enrolled students to the achievement of the common educational objectives, the candidates must take a personal preparation test. The personal preparation test consists in an interview conducted by a Commission appointed by the Teaching Staff of the Degree Course. The interview is conducted on general topics falling within the subject areas related to the curricular requirements for admission to the degree course. With reference to the assessment criteria, the test will be considered passed in the presence of a knowledge judged at least "sufficient" (on the scale insufficient, sufficient, good, excellent) in the aforementioned subject areas.
Students who have obtained a Bachelor's Degree at Link Campus University and those who have graduated from another university in the above-mentioned degree programmes with a mark of no less than 100/110, shall be exempt from the personal preparation test provided for in par. 5.
TUTORING
The course supports students through 4 different types of tutoring:
- Orientation and transversal tutoring, carried out by Education Coordinators, aimed at supporting the students in the reception phase, introducing them into the university life, monitoring their learning pathway, motiving them throughout the course (with special reference to the planned results), supporting them in bureaucratic procedures, the latter in collaboration with the Student Administration Office;
- international tutoring, carried out by the International Office, which wil offer personalized assistance to both international students enrolled in the degree course and Erasmus students;
- didactic tutoring, provided by the didactic support staff (teaching assistants, doctoral students, holders of supplementary teaching contracts, etc.), who will support the students with supplementary teaching activities related to the specific subjects of the learning pathways;
- specialized tutoring, carried out by Education Coordination for inclusion, aimed at students with disabilities or specific learning disorders and special educational needs, aimed at reducing the obstacles that might prevent their full integration in the academic environment.
WORKSHOPS
The workshop activities are designed as moments of learning by doing, through which the students will acquire and/or refine soft skills (team work, problem solving, leadership, communication skills, etc.), increasingly fundamental in the labour maket. They also represent opportunities for in-depth experiential learning in direct contact with industry professionals.
INTERNSHIPS
The Course of Study reserves special credits for orientation training internships, to be carried out within the University, as well as internships and apprenticeships at institutions, agencies, organizations and foundations, companies and financial intermediaries.

FINAL DISSERTATION
The Master's Degree in Advanced Global Management, along with the relevant academic qualification, is conferred upon completion of a final examination.
To be admitted to the final examination, the student must have passed all the training activities envisaged by the Degree Course and must have fulfilled all administrative obligations.
The final examination consists in the discussion, before a special committee, of a dissertation, written under the guidance of a supervising professor, on a subject related to a discipline in which the student has passed the final examination.
The dissertation, which requires specific characteristics of originality (also linked to any internship experience), must demonstrate the acquired mastery of the analytical tools learnt during the course of study, the ability to integrate the diversified disciplinary knowledge learnt, as well as the communicative skills suitable for a profitable entry into the world of work and/or the continuation of the course of study in subsequent cycles.
The final dissertation must be written in Italian. The procedures for the final exam and its timing are defined in the academic calendar, published on the University website and communicated by the Student Administration Office.
