The aim of the Master's Degree in Technologies and languages of communications is to train professionals with specialized skills in the field of digital communication and innovation; professionals who are able to adapt to different work fields where they will act, with functions of high responsibility, as experts in the cutting-edge field of digital communication and innovation.
The Master's Degree in Technologies and languages of communications, is proposed as the ideal continuation of the Bachelor's Degree L-20, training highly specialized profiles, able to work in various public, private, entrepreneurial, professional and third sector contexts, in the broad sector of communication, cultural, video and multimedia publishing industry. In particular, the graduates in Technologies and languages of communications will be able to operate in various sectors, organizations and contexts to accompany the integration, exploitation and development of digital applications and services.
Interdisciplinarity is one of the main features of the Course, which aims to integrate the humanistic and technological dimension, in order to train professionals able to fit into any organisational context and production segment, to accompany, in an enabling and inclusive logic, the transformation introduced by digital technologies.
The course synergistically integrates technical-specialist and socio-humanistic subjects. Therefore, the candidates will be able to choose between a technical pathway, oriented towards the design of human-machine interaction and the development of services and applications; and a managerial pathway, oriented towards the management and coordination of the multiple organisational contexts and production sectors that require the redesigning of internal and external processes, aimed at ensuring a truly accessible, inclusive, sustainable and "human-centred" digital transition.
For these reasons, the Master's degree inTechnologies and languages of communications represents a career development opportunity even for all the candidates who hold positions related to the sphere of communication, innovation and digital transition at different levels of the PA or in private or third sector organisations.
Although the course is divided into three learning pathways, it maintains a single and common corpus of subjects, in order to provide and share the characterising and transversal disciplines for the acquisition of knowledge preparatory to the professional choice, integrating disciplinary sectors from the socio-psycho-pedagogical, economic and IT areas, with particular attention to the evolution of the new digital languages, design techniques and the impact on people, organisations and society.
The teaching model adopted is modern and experiential: traditional academic lessons are integrated with seminars, project works, and classroom testimonials with professionals from companies and institutions. The learning pathway is completed by numerous laboratory experiences, group work, research projects, curricular internships, aimed at developing in students soft skills, autonomy, self-direction, and the ability to work in groups and by objectives. Essential skills for the introduction into the world of work.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Upon completion of the course graduates in Technologies and languages of communications will be able to operate in various organizational and social contexts, across all production sectors. In particular, they may aspire to the following positions: be employed in the professional fields of public, institutional, corporate, advertising and third sector communication, in public bodies, private companies, research centres; carry out freelance and consulting activities; develop company spin-offs, start-ups and self-entrepreneurial projects.

TUTORING
The course supports students through 4 different types of tutoring:
- Orientation and transversal tutoring, carried out by Education Coordinators, aimed at supporting the students in the reception phase, introducing them into the university life, monitoring their learning pathway, motiving them throughout the course (with special reference to the planned results), supporting them in bureaucratic procedures, the latter in collaboration with the Student Administration Office;
- international tutoring, carried out by the International Office, which wil offer personalized assistance to both international students enrolled in the degree course and Erasmus students;
- didactic tutoring, provided by the didactic support staff (teaching assistants, doctoral students, holders of supplementary teaching contracts, etc.), who will support the students with supplementary teaching activities related to the specific subjects of the learning pathways;
- specialized tutoring, carried out by Education Coordination for inclusion, aimed at students with disabilities or specific learning disorders and special educational needs, aimed at reducing the obstacles that might prevent their full integration in the academic environment.
WORKSHOPS
The workshop activities are designed as moments of learning by doing, through which the students will acquire and/or refine soft skills (team work, problem solving, leadership, communication skills, etc.), increasingly fundamental in the labour maket. Furthermore, workshops represent opportunities for in-depth experiential learning in direct contact with professionals in the field.
INTERNSHIPS
The Course of Study reserves special credits for orientation training internships, to be carried out within the University, as well as internships and apprenticeships at institutions, agencies, organizations and foundations.
The following is a list of partner companies and organisations of the University: https://www.unilink.it/en/partnerships-with-companies-and-institutions
FINAL DISSERTATION
The academic regulations of the degree course detail the procedures for the final dissertation, the timing of which is set out in the Academic Calendar, published on the University website and communicated by the Student Administration Office.
The candidate must request for assignment to a professor, chosen from among the members of the teaching staff of the Degree Course. The professor who receives the student's request and accepts it automatically takes on the role of "supervisor".
The dissertation is discussed before a commission appointed by the Rector.
The final examination is always held in public, within the limits of the safety and capacity of the spaces.
At the end of the test, the Commission, considering the curriculum studiorum, the contents of the written dissertation and the related discussion, expresses its final mark in hundredths and may, by unanimous decision, award the highest mark with honours and, if appropriate, the authorization to publish the paper.
The minimum mark for passing the test is sixty-six/hundredths. The Commission's judgement is final.
All the procedures for requesting the assignment of the dissertation, submission of the application/payment of the fee, uploading of the dissertation and its approval by the supervisor are managed by the student via the Esse3 management platform.
